Intuitive making provided a context for my emotional expression. I am distancing myself from representational image-making. I respond directly to the environment I am pulled toward; I feel my way into making the images and respond to that environment from a place deep within myself. An inner knowing takes over, merging my inner spiritual world with the wonder I find in the natural world. Honoring the cycles of nature and being open to a sense of presence, I am free to create work that produces a sense of feeling. I hope the viewer feels this.
